Transparent Pet Fence was established in 1998. Joe and Heather Madilia have been working together to successfully train and contain thousands of dogs and cats. Their family unit includes  two sons, Josh and  Cameron. Both have been helping in the business, whether it be installing, or helping out at the local Home Shows. Our four-legged family members include Zepplin, a Pit Bull rescue mix. Darwin, a rescued American Bulldog, and a Boston Terrier named Luci Lui.  All of our pets have helped our business from one time to another.  Of course, all of our pets enjoy the freedom they get from their Pet Stop Pet Containment System. 

Being a locally owned and operated has given owners Joe and Heather the luxury of focusing on perfecting their pet containment business.   They've built their business on a very simple premise.  Know the business and do it better than anyone else.  Whether it be Sales, Service, Installation, Products and most importantly Training you'll find that nobody in this industry that will do more to help their customers than Transparent Pet Fence.

 
Joe is a graduate from Hempfield High School, Mount Joy Career and  Technology Center, and the Associated Builders And Contractor's as a Journeyman Industrial Electrician with an extensive education in Electronics. He's also been a member of the Building and Industry Association of Lancaster County since 2002. 

Joe also spent four years in the United State Marine Corps and served during the Persian Gulf War.  It wasn't until 1998 that Joe was able to combine his love for dogs, cats, and the pet containment industry. Fortunately, we were able to partner with Pet Stop which is the only pet containment company to manufacturer its products here in the United States.  More specifically, Morgantown Pennsylvania.  

Over the years customers have referred to the way Joe trains as the "Dog Whisperer" of pet containment.  "He seems to know exactly what the dog is going through, how the dog will react, and how to make the training process as easy as possible with the best possible outcome."

International Association of Canine Professionals (www.dogpro.org) 
in Pennsylvania that has an 
Advanced Pet Fence Training Certification.
This is different than the competitors who "certify" themselves and their dealers.  The IACP is a worldwide organization NOT funded by our manufacturer...this is the only THIRD PARTY training certification process in this field as of 2007. 

Heather, a graduate of McCaskey High School & Willow Street Career and  Technology Center. Heather was employed at the Fulton Bank ASC Administrative Building for ten years in the customer relations department before deciding to become a full time member of Transparent Pet Fence.  Her extensive training in the customer relations field has given her the perfect tools necessary to operate Transparent Pet Fence on the inside, plus she helps service customers over the phone.  She understands the needs of our customer base, plus the needs of new clients.  She will take the time to make you understand the pet containment process, as well as answer any question that you may have about pet containment.  

Heather and Joe have been through everything in life together and take their business very personally and professionally.  They've found the perfect balance between business and family life. After business hours they can be found at a variety of local sporting events that their son (Cameron) is involved in.  Joe coaches the East Pete Bulldogs Football, Basketball, Baseball and Flag Football Teams.  Heather has always been active as a Team Parent, plus an East Pete Elementary school room activities mother.  On the weekends, when sports aren't on the schedule, the "Boys" can be found on four wheelers traveling through miles of trails and camping at the
Tower City Trail Riders Club in Schuykill County.
